East London Beauty Academy understands that Health and Safety plays a fundamental part of life and therefore is adamant that not only safe standards are maintained at the Academy but ensure that these standards are maintained in accordance with the relevant Health and Safety Acts and regulations.

A health and safety policy is a commitment to planning and managing health and safety at work and is the key to achieving acceptable standards and preventing accidents and instances of work-related ill health.

Overall responsibility for health and safety rests with the employer but many day-to-day tasks may be delegated. Our policy shows how these tasks are allocated and states exactly who is responsible for different things such as first aid, health and safety and fire risk assessments
and investigating accidents.

Our Health and Safety Policy includes the following:

 risk assessments
 safe equipment use
 hazardous substances
 training
 reporting
 accidents, first aid and emergency procedures
 consultation
 Information.

6. HEALTH AND SAFETY AND WELL BEING
We will provide at East London beauty Academy
 A safe place of work
 A safe system of work
 Adequate equipment
 Recruit competent and safety conscious staff.

All Fees must be paid by the student and where students have difficulties meeting their payments then it is the responsibility of the student to inform the college. We will then discuss ways in which we can assist.

Where students are finding it difficult to meet their student fees but do not inform the Academy then we will not be aware and not be responsible, because at the time of Exams all fees must be paid in full.

All School Fees are expected to be paid on time through the Admissions Office. If students are facing financial issues then Admissions need to be informed as soon as possible so that appropriate action can be taken.

Where this procedure is not followed then students will be excluded from classes until payment of fees are made
