Course Units
Chapter 1: Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
Monitoring the operation of workplace health and safety procedures is the legal responsibility of all senior staff in a salon, not just that of the manager or proprietor. These responsibilities extend beyond salon staff to all people entering the business, e.g. clients, suppliers, contract cleaners, etc. Therefore, in the context of this unit, ‘other people’ includes not only other employees, but all those who have a reason to be on salon premises at any time. This unit is about making sure that statutory and workplace instructions are being carried out.
Chapter 2 : Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
This unit is about working with others to plan, implement and evaluate promotional activities. The ability to competently present information and interact with the public whilst demonstrating skills is a particularly important aspect of this unit.
Chapter 3 : Provide body massage treatments
This unit is about the skills involved in providing head and body massage treatments. It covers manual massage of the head and body as well as mechanical body massage techniques. The ability to adapt massage techniques to suit individual client needs is a crucial requirement of this unit. To carry out this unit you will need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene throughout your work. You will also need to maintain your personal appearance and good communication with the client.
Chapter 4 : Provide Indian head massage
This unit is about the skills involved in providing Indian head massage treatment. The ability to adapt massage techniques to suit individual client needs and the environment in which the massage takes place are crucial requirements. The ability to perform Indian head massages with and without the use of oils is also required. Chapter 7: Provide facial electrical treatments
This unit is about improving body and skin condition using galvanic, Electro Muscle Stimulator (EMS), micro-current, lymphatic drainage and micro-dermabrasion equipment. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment tailored to individual client needs. Once you have successfully completed your training you will receive The VTCT Level 2 Certificate
which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to
paying clients, start your own salon business, or work in a beauty salon/spa.

No, not all courses run on a fix dates, we also run 1-2-1 training to suit your busy shcedule and

4. Do I need my own equipment and products?
No, most equipments and products are provided. However, students will
need their own student kit to continually practicing what they learnÂ
5. How do I pay?
There is few ways of making payments: bank transfer, direct debit monthly instalments.
However, your first instalment must be paid to secure your chosen course and receive
your student learning platform login details.
6. Do you sell any products or tools?

7. How do I book a course?
You can book a course by using the Enrolment Form online, or provide your name and email address
by using the contact us form if you require further information before enrolling onto the course.
8. Is it possible to learn in such a short time?
Yes, the courses are designed to according to the guided learning hours. The theory is kept to a
relevant minimum time onsite, therefore, most of the time is spend on practise.
Most important thing is that our classes are kept small only 2-4 students so you will get all the support you need and answers to all your questions.
9. Is it important that the courses are accredited?
Yes, all our courses are fully accredited courses, which guarantees a high
Standard of training which will enable you to offer your chosen treatments with confidence.
9.When will I receive my certificate?
Once you have successfully completed your training you will receive The VTCT Level 2 Certificate which allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients, start your own salon business, or work in a beauty salon/spa.
Your certificate will be posted out to the account holder 4-6 weeks after the date of your training.
Please note, certificate will not be process until all payments is completed.
