Before, we move beyond basic beauty and focus on the Science of the Skin. To work on the “Machine,” you must first understand how it is built. You will master five core pillars:

  • The Blueprint (Anatomy & Physiology): How the body and skin are structured.

  • The Power (Electrical Science): How the machines and currents actually work.

  • The Diagnostic (Skin Analysis): How to “read” a client’s skin and choose the right treatment.

  • The Protocol (Consultation): How to talk to clients and prescribe the right home care.

To perform advanced treatments safely and get insurance coverage, you must understand the “Science of the Skin.” Most Level 4 courses (like Lasers or Microneedling) require a Level 3 foundation in Anatomy and Electrical Science as a prerequisite. This course ensures you have the legal and clinical “keys” to progress.

How long does this course take to complete?

Because this is a “Fast-Track” bridge, we focus on high-impact learning. The duration typically ranges from 8 to 12 weeks, combining flexible online theory with intensive, hands-on practical days at the Avance Academy.

Is this qualification recognised by insurers?

Yes. We offer ITEC/VTCT regulated qualifications, which are the “Gold Standard” in the UK and internationally. This ensures that once you graduate, you can easily obtain professional indemnity insurance to begin practicing or to continue your studies.

What happens after I finish Level 3

You are immediately eligible to enroll in our Level 4 Specialist Courses. Most of our students move directly into Microneedling or Chemical Peels to start building their treatment menu while they continue their journey toward Level 5 and beyond.

Is there a lot of science involved?
